This page will keep a record of the costs for the build of my ClassGlobe 5.80 hull number 256. I have found other blogs that included costs to be really helpful in enabling project planning. The one that I found particularly helpful was https://northcardinal.co.uk/class-globe-5-80-costs/. I hope this record of costs will be as helpful to those who follow. It may also show the price rises on some items, and I may have a slightly different approach, so that may also be of interest. Costs are in pounds sterling and are rounded to the nearest pound.

However, I am going to set a budget of £32,000, as I think just listing the costs can easily run away from you and the project then becomes unaffordable. I will also set out cost dates in the comments to show the spread of the cost over the build time. These will be approximate and liable to chage. This will get me to a class acceptable boat but without the required equipment for events such as the MGR or Transit. MGR costings will be in another costing list page so that the two things are separate.
