I thought I had been silent for far too long; you may have thought I had given up. Well, that’s not the case. It is certainly taking me longer than I thought. This is down to the fact I have had such a massive learning curve. I knew that would happen, but what was most time-consuming was the fact that ‘I didn’t know what I didn’t know’. So, I needed to find that out first before I could even work on my lack of knowledge. Also, the weather has been great, the best summer for such a long time, and I have made the most of it, along with getting back to Wales quite a bit. You know what they say; all work and no play makes Mike a dull boy 🙂 Anyway, I have almost finished the frames, and I have the D’ frame to complete. Once that is completed, I will then check over all the frames, making sure they are in good order, ready to be attached to the strong back/jig. One of my fellow builders termed this as phase one, and I quite like that, so as soon as I finish phase one I will be back to show you all my handywork.
Until then, here is a selection of photos of work so far.
