On my way back from Wales, I popped in to see the folk at https://www.fyneboatkits.co.uk. They were great, and I talked things through with Phil and Tim and had a chance to see the operation there. It really was a great time. I am now away to place the order and be back there collecting the ClassGlobe 5.80 parts kit https://classglobe580.com very soon. I have also decided to do a short introduction to epoxy course there so that at least I have some understanding of how to use it.

The only thing that would have made it a perfect day would have been to meet Mike Peet, a new builder who was collecting his parts for the boat on the same day I was visiting (no such thing as coincidence). Anyway, I am sure we will be in touch as we both take this Class Globe 5.80 journey together.

So next time I update this blog, I will be collecting the boat parts, and I promise to add some pictures of the momentous event.
